Reefer Container

A reefer container is a refrigerated equipment, basically used for carriage of perishable goods. It is built of stainless steel and/or aluminium, as per the ISO - ( International Standard Organization ) guidelines.

The models mostly in use in the market are:

20’ and 40’ Standard Reefer - Equipment fit for carrying up to 30.480 kg, including the unit’s tare, lf perishable cargo.
High-Cube 40’ Reefer Container ( High Reefer ) – Equipment fir for carrying up to 34.000 kg, including the unit’s tare.

 

Depotrans is able to perform repairs services on such refrigerated cargo units, counting for that purpose with:

• Sheltered and well equiped área fit for 50 Teus;
• 142 plugs for cooling systems testing ( P.T.I. - Pré-trip inspection);
• Skilled manpower consisted of: Operational Supervisor; Workshop men in charge, welders ; Painters and general assistants duly trained as per the company’s procedures and the security plan for the most appropriated development of their functions;

The cooling system machinery tests ( P.T.I. - Pré-trip inspection ) are done within our facilities, although through a third party company, appointed by the client and the tests are comprised of a fully and dedicated inspection of all components belonging to the cooling machinery system, in order to ensure to the clients the absolute certainty as far as cargo integrity is concerned.
